Virion length is about 790  nm as opposed to 970  nm with Ebola viruses,

Genome length of 19.1  kb as opposed to 18.9  kb with Ebola viruses,

Single gene overlap as opposed to several overlaps with Ebola viruses,

5.

Glycoprotein expression does not involve transcriptional editing of gene four,

6.

Protein profile distinct from Ebola viruses; however homogenous for all strains,

7.

Glycoprotein gene nulceotide difference of 57% compared with Ebola viruses,

8.

Fatality rate in humans is about 25%.
